(MT- Training course outline- TC-2)

 

الزامات استاندارد SNT-TC-1A انجمن تستهای غیر مخرب امریکا(ASNT) برای تست ذرات مغناطیسی

Recommended hours ofinstruction 

According to SNT-TC-1A

         A*            B* 

Level I                                total    12             8

 Level II                               total      8             4

*A   high school graduate or equivalent

*B   completion with passing grades of at least two years of engineering or science study at a university, college or technical  school  this is a progressive training course; i.e., consideration as level I is based on satisfactory completion of the level I training course; consideration as level II is based on satisfactory completion of both level I and II training courses.

Topics in the training outline may be deleted or expanded to meet the employer's specific applications or for limited certification and may be accompanied by a corresponding change in training hours.

 Recommended hours of instruction should be considered as a minimum requirement, regardless of training course topic changes.

LESSON 3

       Electric current, fields in and around a conductor, right              hand grip rule, current and its effect, D.C, A.C, H.W.R.A.C, measurement of current, ammeters

LESSON 4

       Field around a conductor, AC & DC field distribution,  solid conductors, hollow conductors, magnetic and non                      magnetic conductors, sensitivity of methods

LESSON 5

       Circular magnetization, direct and indirect induction

LESSON 6

        Longitudinal magnetization, coils, yokes, permanent magnets

LESSON 7

         Equipment, wet horizontal method, dry continuous method, mobile, portable, bench units, demagnetizing equipment

LESSON 8

         Magnetic particle mediums, size, density, mobility, shape, colour,    viewing conditions, sensitivity, advantages and limitations, suspension characteristics

LESSON 9

          Current requirements, selection of amperage, circular, longitudinal

LESSON 10

           Magnetic field measurements, flux meters, hall effect, shared flux devices, eddy current

LESSON 11

            Demagnetization, causes of magnetization, review of remanent magnetism, demagnetization procedures, remanent test

LESSON 12

             Ultraviolet, fluorescence, sources of ultraviolet, UV-A filters, intensity variables, fluorescent emission, dark adaptation, mercury dark hazards

LESSON 13

              Magnetic particle application, residual method, continuous method, surface preparation, location of discontinuities, magnetic rubber inspection

LESSON 14

              Rotating vectors, resultant fields

 

LESSON 15

              Classification of discontinuities, non relevant indications, false indications

LESSON 16

              Quality control, solid contents, test pieces, current and coil

              General precautions to be observed when handling or working with chemical products
